Echo Storm
Crocs came to Bark&Bite looking to make waves across the Street/Sport category that includes many of their most hyped releases. The first in a series of collections requiring CGI content, was the distinctive new shoe: The Echo Storm.ย
Our concept centred around inversion, utilising the black and white shoes within the range to create a positive/negative juxtaposition. This bold graphic style centred the product as the focal point, speaking to their own style and presence. The nitro yellow was added in as a pop colour to push the graphic execution further and hero the entire collection.
As opposed to crafting a traditional 3D environment we used a dynamic collage effect, layering urban imagery to create a disruptive graphic style. This approach provided freedom when introducing type and animating the shoes to ensure maximum impact.The music track needed youth appeal without being too โheavyโ or โurbanโ. Giving it plenty of contrast was critical to ensuring that the dynamism in the score, with plenty of breaks and hit-points, married perfectly with the visuals.
